Our Work
Bullying is a normal part of most children's world. However, parents, teachers and administration rarely talk about it. The message children receive when adults don't talk about things is that this topic is forbidden. Of course, its not, but they don't know this. To help our kids, we must confront bullying head on.
Not the Target teaches both children - and their mentors - how to stand-up to, and when to walk-away from bullies.
The format is simple: One hour presentations to those classes directly affected by bullying. The presentations are targeted for children in first to eighth grade.
Presentations can be made in classrooms, or during teacher meetings.
Feedback
Over the past two years, we have presented to tens of thousands of children as well as hundreds of teacher, administrators and parents.
Schools
"Thank you Jon for all of your support this year. As you can tell, we are dealing with trying times and the situations does not look like it will get better for a long while. The staff was very appreciative of your presentation. I actually had a dialogue with a student today and I emphasized some of the strategies you suggested. Hopefully, we can reduce the percentage of students that feel like they are being bullied." - AO - Principal
